Robbie Keane May Manage LA Galaxy

There are several football leagues all around the world and Major League Soccer is one of them. The football league of the United States of America is one of the famous leagues and players like David Beckham have played in this league for Los Angeles Galaxy. The same team has shown interest in making Robbie Keane their coach to train their team.

Several sources have talked about the recruitment but the club itself has denied it so far. In the current season, their coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto lost his job as he couldn’t take the club’s performance to the desired level from the club officials. This is why Dominic Kinnear was put on the hot seat as a stopgap coach to manage the rest of the season. LA Galaxy continued their search for such a coach who will be able to bring out the best from the players and will understand their problems. This is why they may go with Robbie Keane who was a former player of this team.

As far as Robbie Keane is concerned, the former Irish forward played for the best clubs of the world like Inter Milan, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Celtic, and many more. He played for Los Angeles Galaxy from 2011 to 2016 and helped his club to win 3 Major League Soccer titles. The news from his end is that he is quite interested in this offer. But from the official sources of LA Galaxy, they have shortlisted some of the names and would like to talk to them also. He played his last game for Atletico De Kolkata which is a club based in Kolkata, India in 2018 in the Indian Super League. Though this is a competitive tournament till 2019 it was not the official league of India but the Football Federation of India has promoted this league as the top league of the country in 2020.
